Making the right decisions
Making the decision to choose care and support for yourself or a loved one is never an easy task and its often not helped by the need for a quick decision arising in a crisis situation whether that comes from an accident or loss of a carer, etc.

Care Forum Wales is a not-for-profit organisation representing all independent sector providers of health and social care services for adults and children throughout Wales, influencing health and social care policy and practice in Wales as the principal voice for the independent care sector at the National Assembly for Wales. Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales

Department of Health
The Department of Health exists to help improve the health and well-being of the population of England. The Department provides strategic leadership to the NHS and social care organisations in England. Go to Department of Health
English Community Care Association
The English Community Care Association is an amalgamation of the community care members of the Independent Healthcare Association and members of English Care, the largest representational body in the long term care sector. The ECCA works to ensure that care services are commissioned fairly, efficiently and on a properly funded basis, to meet the true costs of providing appropriate care. Help the Aged
Help the Aged provides health advice and information for older people and their carers. Their Advice and Support section contains information about conditions from cancer to osteoporosis, as well as advice on healthy ageing and issues like the menopause. Help the Aged campaign for improved health services for older people, and provide other useful information such as the effect of hospital stays on any benefits claimed. The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care
