RMN - Willows, Chesterfield
- Assisting with the assessment of nursing care needs.
- Planning, delivering and evaluating individual care / treatment plans in consultation with Service Users, their relatives and the Care Team.
- Conducting risk assessments.
- Supervising care staff in the delivery of high standards of care / treatment to achieve planned goals.
- Assisting with staff scheduling to ensure adequate people are available to meet requirements.
- Participating in care staff supervisions and reviews and assisting with the induction and orientation of new care staff.
- Maintaining the safe custody, administration, dispensing and storage of medication according to NMC Administration of Medication.
- Participating in clinical audit / quality / continuous improvement processes.
- Ensuring professional integrity and accountability, working at all times within the Nursing and Midwifery Councils ‘Code of Professional Conduct’ and any other service-specific Codes of Practice e.g. Mental Health Act (1983).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1st level Registered Nurse
- Evidence of continual professional development

We support 41 people who need nursing care and we have a specialist dementia unit for those that require it. All our staff are trained to a high level and treat all individuals with dignity and respect at all times. We encourage visiting from family and friends and we like to ensure individuals and their relatives to feel they are at home.
