Mental health services 'open to suggestion'

 Wirral residents are being given the chance to have their say on the future of mental health services in the region, it has been reported. According to the Wirral Globe, the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is inviting people to an annual planning event that will allow them to air their views on the trust's future.Held next Wednesday, the event will give members a chance to influence the trust's three-year plan for mental health services, the paper states.Head of performance at the trust Sarah Marshall told the news provider: "The direction for the Trust over the next three years is focusing on improving the services it delivers.""We aim to maintain and build on our reputation for quality and excellence," she added.In related news, the Royal Liverpool hospital is using voice recognition technology to reduce waiting lists, reports the Liverpool Echo.
