Arden college specialises in working with young people with significant communication and/or behaviour support needs.
Overview of service
The college focuses on developing individual communication strategies that enable learners to make the most of the opportunities provided by the college to develop their independence.
We make good use of learning opportunities in the local community and vocational development opportunities throughout the region. We provide full and part-time courses for up to 38 or 52 weeks per year for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
All learners are encouraged to access vocational and real work experience supported by a dedicated teaching and support team.

Craegmoor’s Arden College is situated in the heart of the vibrant town of Southport on the popular west coast of Lancashire.
Service facilities
The college provides for 16 day students and 44 residential students. The residential students reside in Registered Homes. All accommodation is homely, well maintained and colourfully decorated. The primary aim of the College is to provide the students with an inclusive quality educational and social care service that enables them to achieve their potential and their social, behavioural and emotional development.
