Lawn House

The service offers accommodation for 10 adults with learning disabilities or mental illnesses. Support offered at Lawn House is delivered by a dedicated and professional multi-disciplinary team committed to providing quality care focused on the needs of individuals. Our ratio of staff to individuals ensures a supportive framework of support in which all are supported in achieving their potential within a safe environment with dignity and respect.

What it's like to live here

Staff organise a wide range of daily activities both in and out of the service which are planned in conjunction with everyone’s wishes. All enjoy swimming, bowling, trips to cinema, outings to pubs, shopping. College courses are available and include music, art, communication, speech, cooking, relaxation, arts and crafts, dancing or gardening. Our own transport is used for visits to local places of interest and to go out to local day services and resource centres.

Lawn House offers a warm and homely environment. The service has been tastefully decorated throughout with individual décor in each bedroom to meet the requirements and needs of each individual.

The service has a substantial airy lounge area, dining room, kitchen, utility room and a tranquil, secluded garden which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. All are encouraged to personalise their own space.
